Pea

Available All year Best during Spring

Fresh peas in season are one of nature's delicacies but the season is short and commercial growers have become an endangered species in Victoria. Most peas come from interstate and are available for most of the year.

Other varieties are Mange Tout (eat all) and Snow Peas. Pea tendrils are also used as a vegetable by Chinese cooks.
