This Fitzroy institution is Henry Maas' recreation of a 50s coffee lounge. Over time, as his plantation took over the street, it has been (and still is) a refuge for Fitzrovians and a welcoming spot for others. Today it is more bar than cafe and milk is not commonly sold.
